If you love musical theatre, want to make like-minded friends, and are seeking performance opportunities in a welcoming space, this class is for you!
Open to all levels of experience in musical theatre, this class will help build your skills.
A perfect introduction to musical theatre training, classes will involve THEATRE GAMES AND EXERCISES, ENSEMBLE MUSIC, and CREATIVE MOVEMENT, led by industry professionals in a supportive environment. This musical theatre program culminates in a final showcase performance in our STUDIO THEATRE.

SAMPLE ADULT SCHEDULE
SAMPLE ADULT SCHEDULE
Week 1: Meet your instructor and your fellow classmates! In our first class, we start with some introductory exercises, and talk about our term goals.
Weeks 2-4: We work on our performance skills through theatre games and exercises, incorporating voice and stage movement. We also work towards our final musical theatre performance by learning music, choreography, and blocking.
Weeks 5-8: We stage and polish our musical theatre performance, using the techniques we’ve learned.
Week 9: Dress rehearsal! We try on any costume elements and practice our final musical theatre performance with lights and sound before the audience arrives.
Week 10: Show time! We showcase our skills in an ensemble performance based on a musical theme or popular musical. Students perform in our state-of-the-art Zlotnik Studio Theatre.
