Biography
Ben Kopp is a Toronto-based Music Director and Composer originally from London, Ontario. Ben has Music Directed for the Ryerson Performance Youth Camps, and has worked as an accompanist around the city for various youth theatre projects. Ben also teaches private voice and piano lessons, and has been playing piano since the age of four. Ben is committed to giving all his students a positive musical experience, and providing them the tools to succeed.
When not music directing, Ben is a composer and lyricist. His first experience with Bravo Academy was the NMTI Writer’s Workshop, held in May 2020. Since the success of his original musical, Over Again, at the 2019 New Voices Festival, he has been busy working on his latest project, Killing Time, A Game Show Musical, which has it’s next performance in the 2022 Hamilton Fringe.
