Dustyn is beyond excited to join the team at Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts as Producer/Executive Assistant. With 18 years of professional experience in theatre, Dustyn is thrilled to return to Bravo to share his passion and expertise. 

 

Having worked across the country as a Stage Manager, Producer, and Business Representative Manager at Canadian Actors’ Equity, Dustyn brings a wide range of skills from experience on large-scale musical productions, live events, and new work development of plays, as well as everything in between. It is so lovely to be back home at Bravo, having served as the Academy’s first official Stage Manager on the 2008 production of Les Misérables.

 

Some highlights of Dustyn’s Stage Management career include productions at Drayton Entertainment, Mirvish, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Thousand Islands Playhouse, Musical Stage Company, Toronto Pan Am Games, and Soulpepper, to name a few. A handful of his favourite productions, on which he has had the pleasure of working, include Light in the Piazza, Once, Waitress, Newsies, Kinky Boots, The Prom, and Alice in Wonderland. Producing credits include Blind Date and Goblin:Macbeth for Northan Industries, as well as site-specific productions and international tours for Talk Is Free Theatre.

 

Dustyn cannot wait to see what the future holds for Bravo Academy and is over the moon to be a small part in nurturing and supporting the students as they become the next generation of Theatre Professionals.
