Biography
Emma Ratcliffe (she/her) is an interdisciplinary performer and arts educator living in Hamilton, Ontario. She holds a BFA Honours in Theatre & Drama Studies from the University of Toronto/Mississauga and a Bachelors in Acting from Sheridan College. She has received her Grade 10 Certificate in Vocal Performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is a former NATS Semi-Finalist, and has had the pleasure to share her knowledge with students of all ages in various disciplines over the course of many years.
As an educator, she has taught in various arts institutions across Southwestern Ontario including Innovative Arts, The Travelling Stage, Original Kids, Arts For All Kids and Dance Steps Studio. She has led workshops and classes in musical theatre, dance, voice, drama and devised theatre. In 2020 she started a private virtual voice studio to focus on 1 on 1 instruction in singing. She looks forward to bringing her knowledge from this experience to her studio at Bravo Academy.
Her focus as an instructor is to empower students to express themselves authentically and nurture their love of the arts, while equipping them with the technical skills required to maintain their health and longevity as performers. And, of course, to have fun while doing it!
