Biography

Mike is a passionate and dynamic creative producer, music director, conductor, tour manager and educator with extensive experience in the performing arts. 

He currently serves as the Managing and Creative Director for the Mini Pop Kids, Canada’s leading music brand for children, where he oversees all aspects of their national tours, productions, recording and training.  Leading a dedicated team, Mike is committed to providing comprehensive support and mentorship to these young performers as they navigate the industry, empowering each artist to reach their fullest potential.  In addition to Mini Pop Kids, Mike has a track record of managing high-profile projects, including a tour and album release for Priyanka, season 1 winner of Canada’s Drag Race, and collaborating with MPK and Bravo alumni AVIV, where Mike produced her opening act for the Imagine Dragons Mercury World Tour in 2022.  Prior to MPK, Mike worked as music director and tour manager for Creativiva Inc., producing theatrical productions such as Aladdin, The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, China, Mexico, Canada and the US.  

As a music director, conductor and educator, Mike has worked on numerous productions, with select credits including: Songs For A New World (Randolph Academy, Spring Awakening (St. Lawrence College), Urinetown, The Music Man  (Mainstage Theatre Co.), 13 the Musical, On the Town, Newsies (Bravo Academy), Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Hairspray, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q, Rocky Horror Show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Last 5 Years (Lower Ossington Theatre), The Life (Call It A Day Productions).  

Mike holds an Hon. B.Mus.Ed from the University of Prince Edward Island with a specialization in choral conducting.
