Biography
Stephen (he/him) is a director/choreographer who’s had an extensive career performing in musicals as well as the creative side of the industry. His 20-year performance career included working for 17 seasons at the Stratford Festival, which fostered his love for education and direction/choreography. His most recent work includes choreography for the production of Frankenstein Revived during the Stratford Festival’s 2023 season.
Stephen is currently a faculty member at Sheridan College, and Randolph College for the Performing Arts. He spent a year working for Innovative Arts which is another youth theatre training platform for young artists and has participated in many theatre training intensives including 8 years with the Stratford Musical Theatre Training Intensive and the Masterclass Series.
He is incredibly passionate about teaching, both while educating young aspiring artists and leading industry professionals and is extremely excited to be with the Bravo Academy for a second year! Last year Stephen was choreographer for senior troupe’s Something Rotten, director /choreographer for youth Saturday’s Something Rotten and director/choreographer for SpongeBob The Musical for both senior and Saturday youth troupe’s.
