Biography
Robbie Dryer is a theatre artist and writer from Toronto. He holds a BA in Theatre and Contemporary Studies from the University of King’s College and an MFA in Creative Writing and Theatre from the University of British Columbia, where he was also Associate Producer of the Bryan Wade Brave New Play Rites Festival. He previously coordinated and directed the theatre program at Camp Manitou in McKellar, Ontario. He has been an actor and director with the King’s Theatrical Society and an assistant director/dramaturge with Fountain School of Performing Arts, both in Halifax. His plays Bog Body (Foolish Productions, 2023) and The Lactation of Saint Bernard (Brave New Play Rites, 2022) have been produced in and around Vancouver. Robbie is a proud alumnus of Bravo Academy’s Theatre Troupe Program. In his spare time, he does crosswords, takes bad film photography, and plays piano poorly.
